Lali Binyatova
Lali Binyatova is am a visual artist who frequently integrates personal stories, everyday observations, and social research into her projects, focusing on the human experience as the core of my work.
She has participated in numerous local and global exhibitions, including the In-Visible Festival (Azerbaijan, 2021), Bursa Photo Festival (Turkey, 2021), and the Kolga Photo Festival (Georgia, 2022 and 2024).
In 2022, she took part in a photography residency titled "Black Sea," supported by the City Hall of Poti.
Lali's photographs have been featured in various platforms and magazines such as The Guardian, Chai Khana, Revue6mois, as well as Azerbaijani publications like "Baku" and "Nargis" magazines.
From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the "F37" Union, a platform dedicated to representing, supporting, and exhibiting photographers locally and promoting international practices.
In 2023, Binyatova founded "Tecili photo," a space for photographers aimed at supporting and showcasing the works of contemporary Azerbaijani photographers.
In 2024, Lali was honored to become a finalist of the IWPA (International Women Photography Association) and exhibited at the Tbilisi Art Festival.
